This policy explains what personal information Auto Repair Texas ("we") collects through autorepairtexas.com and how we use it.
1. Information we collect
- Drivers browsing the directory: we don't ask for any personal information. Searches and filters run in your browser.
- Shop owners who claim a listing: your name, business email, shop phone number and the shop you're claiming.
- Paid subscribers: payments are processed by our reseller Paddle.com. Paddle collects your billing details (such as card or PayPal information and billing address) directly. We never see or store your full card details. We receive confirmation of your purchase, your email, and the details you entered in the claim form.
- Emails you send us: the content of your message and your contact details.
2. How we use it
- To verify that you own the shop you're claiming
- To set up and manage your listing and Featured placement
- To send service messages about your listing or subscription
- To answer your questions
We don't sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Who we share it with
- Paddle.com, our payment reseller and Merchant of Record, which processes payments, taxes and refunds under its own privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the Site.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
4. Cookies
The directory itself doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. When you open checkout, Paddle may set cookies needed to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.
5. How long we keep it
We keep claim and subscription details for as long as your listing is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and legal obligations.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or remove your claim, by emailing support@autorepairtexas.com. We'll reply within 30 days.
7. Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
