These terms apply to your use of autorepairtexas.com (the "Site"), operated by Auto Repair Texas ("we", "us"). By using the Site or buying a plan, you agree to them.

1. What we offer

Auto Repair Texas is an online directory that helps drivers find auto repair shops in Texas. Browsing the directory is free. Shop owners can claim their listing for free (Verified Owner) or subscribe to the paid Featured Shop plan, which gives their listing top placement in its city and service searches, a Featured badge, and a photo gallery.

2. Listing information

Shop details are compiled from public sources and from shop owners. We work to keep them accurate but cannot guarantee that every detail (hours, ratings, warranties, phone numbers) is current. Drivers should confirm details with the shop directly. We do not perform, guarantee or take responsibility for any repair work.

3. Claiming a listing

To claim a listing you must be the owner or an authorized representative of the shop. We verify ownership by contacting the shop at its publicly listed phone number. We may decline or remove a claim we cannot verify.

4. Featured Shop plan and billing

• The Featured Shop plan costs $49 USD per month, plus any sales tax that applies in your location, shown at checkout.
• It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• Featured placement is switched on after we verify your ownership, normally within 2 business days of payment.
• You can cancel at any time. Your Featured placement stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false or misleading information, impersonate another business, post unlawful content, or try to disrupt the Site. We may suspend or remove listings or accounts that break these terms.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of photos and text you provide for your listing. You give us permission to display them on the Site for as long as your listing is active, and you confirm you have the right to share them.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any dealings between drivers and shops. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes that affect paid plans, we'll email current subscribers before they take effect.
